Vice President - Qatar Aviation Services - Doha

The Vice President of Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) will be responsible for the delivery and operational efficiency of all Airside, Passenger Services and Operational Control departments at Hamad International Airport.

In this role, you are responsible for leading and directing all activities within the QAS operation, in line with safety, commercial and operational policies. You will establish the team objectives and priorities to align and support objectives. The role is accountable for the annual business plans and operating budgets.

Requirements

You will hold a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years related experience. You will have comprehensive knowledge of airport operation methods, practices and procedures including Airside Operations, Passenger Handling and Engineering. You will be skilled in handling IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreements and related airport documentation. The role will demand strong business acumen and you must be able to challenge others to manage change creatively, implement new approaches and encourage continuous improvement within your area of assignment.

You will have exceptional people values; very adept at bringing out strengths in others. You will inspire and motivate teams and individuals to meet the organisation's vision and goals. The ability to provide a conducive work place that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, is vital to the role. You will have strong service orientation and cross cultural awareness whilst having an excellent command of written and spoken English and advanced MS Office expertise.
