Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives: Support the Store Manager by maintaining the sales and decoration standards as per the Decoration Manual and Brand Planogram.

Main responsibilities:
• Work with the Store Manager and implement season changes and events as per the directives from the Head Office.
• Conduct daily floor walk with the Store Manager and consider areas which can add accessories to drive add-on sales for the business.
• Aid in sale maximization through supporting stores in presenting their merchandise in the best and most effective way possible
• Ensure company visual/merchandising planograms as per communications received from brand, management and feedback within relevant timeframes
• Report any issues with accessories and furniture to the Store Manager such as discrepancies in colour variations etc.
• Coordinate commercial displays with intention of enticing customers to stores, or amending displays based on feedback ensuring they are kept engaged
• Act on feedback accumulated from customers to Decorators to allow the best visual displays to be created for them
• Check Visually Merchandised areas, taking action to resolve any issues in order to maintain Sales floor appearance and function in compliance with the Decoration Standards
• Ensure that the Wall Racking Studio, 3.0 Show Table, 3.0 Show Towers, Bazaar, Design Wall, Bazaar Wall, Shop in Shop, Circles, Flower Shop, Picture and Frames, Candle Shops, Display Walls and Rug Box are all merchandised as per the Decoration Manual
• Check Planograms are made correctly and followed consistently by the Sales Associate through communication and display of planograms
• Ensure all Sales Solutions and “Signs” in Store are correct and used in the right way
• Work collaboratively with the Team to ensure a harmonious physical presentation is achieved
• Assist the Sales Team with Sales on the floor by attending to customer requests
• Ensure the Store is merchandised by every Thursday, ready for the weekend as per the Decoration Standards
• Communicate effectively with all departments in the Store to ensure the correct procedures are followed for accessory movement and or handling of new accessories
• Ensure all maintenance is properly completed and report any findings to the Store Manager

Requirements

University Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent

Nature and length of previous experience: 3-5 years of experience in furniture visual merchandising
