Louis Berger has recently been awarded the construction supervision services for three FIFA-compliant stadiums, precincts, and 41 training facilities across Qatar. The project will include the Lusail Iconic Stadium, which will have seating capacity for more than 80,000 fans and will host the opening and closing ceremonies, along with final matches. Due to the magnitude of the project we will be seeking a Void Specialist to be part of this iconic project for the Lusail Stadium.

Duties and Responsibilities not limited to:
• Maintain a record of all inaccessible voids present on site and retain electronic copies of all void inspection and certification documentation in accordance with the Void identification and Certification Procedure;
• Coordinate and inspect if required Amber and Red Void closure as required;
• Coordinate all the inspector for Amber and Green inspection;
• Coordinate with on-site Ministry of Interior/Internal Security Force representative for all Red Void closure & take photos ( before, during and after closure);
• Coordinate the required inspection based on Void register provided by Designer;
• Validating all Void Certificates and Audit Trail Submissions across the programme;
• Counter-signing certification as required;
• Pass on all signed inspection records & photos to Contractor on the day of inspection;
• Resolving any non-conformance issues relating to the void inspection and certification;
• Local resolution of non-conformance issues relating to inaccessible voids inspection;
• Provide weekly report to Client's Senior Void Specialist on Void programme status and issues;
• Assisting with the training and certification of all Void Inspectors;
• Keeping security stakeholders informed and up to date with the void programme’ s status via reports and meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent from recognize university
• A background of identifying and recording voids/cavities on major construction projects, preferably with experience managing a complex stadium/sporting arena project.
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be preferred
