Warehouse Helper

Job description / Role

The Helper is responsible for carrying out warehouse and operational support activities including receiving, unloading, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. The role supports delivery operations by assisting in loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining accurate stock handling, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong teamwork to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely deliveries.

Receiving & Unloading
• Assist in unloading incoming shipments from delivery vehicles.
• Sort and organize incoming goods according to instructions.
• Check for visible damage or discrepancies in shipments.

Order Picking & Packing
• Pick and pack orders accurately based on picking lists.
• Ensure proper packaging, labelling, and palletizing of orders for shipment.

Inventory Handling
• Assist in storing and organizing inventory in designated areas.
• Rotate stock using FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Support physical inventory counts as directed.

Warehouse Maintenance
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Sweep, mop, and carry out housekeeping tasks in warehouse zones.

Loading & Delivery Assistance
• Assist in loading and unloading goods onto delivery vehicles.
• Provide manual assistance for deliveries to customer locations.

Safety & Compliance
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Report hazards and ensure adherence to company policies.

• High School Diploma or completed a 10th grade education.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or related operations.
• Read and or Write English
• Receiving, unloading, and order fulfilment.
• Inventory storage, rotation, and documentation.
• Material handling with pallet jacks/hand trucks.
• Warehouse maintenance and safety compliance.
• Delivery assistance and customer interaction.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25kg; stand for extended periods; perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols.
• Flexible to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a multicultural team.

Salary:
QAR 1,000 to 1,387 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
