Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a utility service company who is looking to hire a Waste Operations Officer in Qatar. You will be responsible for the overall operations of a waste management service.
Duties will include meeting clients on a weekly basis and having responsibility for the operations team to include managing their day-to-day schedule. You will ensure the upkeep of proper records for the repair and maintenance of all vehicles and equipment. You will enforce proper safety standards and ensure they are maintained by providing the necessary training.
You will also maintain all data including operations logs, maintenance reports and third party reports / documents. In addition, you will document any customer complaints and take all necessary action to ensure they are effectively closed as per the customer complaint handling process.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be Degree / Diploma educated and have over 5 years experience working in a waste / recycling or service industry. You should be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines as well as build relationships. You should also have proven experience of implementing waste management operations together with supervising / managing operations teams.
