Water Systems Engineer

Job description / Role

Additional role to work within new project for a prestigious client.

Represent the Hospital Engineering Department and its involvement in the Local Water Safety Group (LWSG) by means of being the Engineering Departments Lead Authorised Person (AP).

- To develop, implement and maintain an up to date Water Safety Plan (WSP) which complements the environment focusing on patient safety mitigating risk in a pro-active and timely manner.
- Minimum 3 years FM experience in a healthcare environment
- Must have been formally appointed as Authorised Person (AP) by an Authorised Engineer (AE)
- Degree (Mechanical or Building Services) or HND/HNC Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.

Requirements

- Fully conversant with HTM 04-01, L8 & WHO Guidelines with both the theory and practice.
