Job description / Role
On behalf of a leading multinational Cost consultancy, I require a Senior Quantity Surveyor / contracts specialist to working in Doha, Qatar.
Successful Candidates will have a minimum of 10 years post graduate (QS related) experience and a background delivering a variety of projects including buildings and infrastructure. Candidates must be proficient with post contract duties and a knowledge of EoT related procedures.
Brief overview:
* Interprets contract provisions to help resolve claims and questions submitted by contractors in accordance with local authority
* Initiates and/or conducts meetings with contractors concerning contractual problems as requested by Project Manager/Engineer.
* Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity
* Ensure Contract Management & examine compliance per work scope.
Requirements
To be considered for the role:
* University Qualifications: Bcs: Quantity Surveying or Construction related
* Other certifications obtained: MRICS (Preferred but not essential)
* Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Multi-nation PMC, Cost or claims Consultancies.
* Age Range: Must be under 60 (Visa restrictions on over 60's)
* Gender Preference: Any
