Overview:

My client is a large international organisation that designs, implements, finances and manages investments within the growing photovoltaic sector across the globe.

They are currently looking to grow and expand in Romania, due to the potential growth of renewables in this location.

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing multiple projects in various locations simultaneously, assuring compliance with time and budget requirements, providing positive, clear, concise, and transparent reporting to the head of asset realisation and to the finance department
- Acquire responsibility of authorized projects, and manage them through all the phases, from building permission to the RTB status, to construction, to connection to the national electrical grid and to the entry into operation
- Manage rapports with public authorities, TSO/DSO national electrical grid operators, consultants, in all the phases of the project
- Ensure compliance of the project with the authorization requirements, national electrical grid connection procedures, applicable laws and norms, the company's technical requirements, and international technical standards
- Prepare a detailed project budget, and a construction time schedule for all projects, which needs to be closely monitored throughout the life of the project
- Settle technical requirements and scope of work of EPC construction contracts, associated exhibits, and project specific agreements
- Select potential EPC contractors and lead the RFQs (Request For Quotation) procedures, coordinating with Company's Purchasing and Technical departments, then negotiate EPC construction contracts with the selected EPC contractors
- Select Project and Site Managers, ensuring appropriate availability and allocation of resources

Requirements

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in the solar industry
- Proficiency level of English and Romanian, German language is a plus
- EU driving licence
- Knowledge of Construction multidisciplinary activities: electrical, mechanical, civil, HSEQ, Environmental
- Knowledge of the connection procedures to the national HV/MV grid with national TSO / DSO grid operators
- Knowledge of the authorization process for photovoltaic systems, and procedures for obtaining construction permits.
