Front-End Web Development Part-time

This 10-week part-time evening course is designed to provide an introduction to the field of Front-End Web Development; participants will graduate with the coding fundamentals to build web pages from scratch and a portfolio piece to match.

In this course, students will learn how to create a basic website with HTML and CSS. Then, students progress to programming with Javascript and JQuery basics. Finally, students build an interactive website that showcases their learning and skill. The course covers such popular front-end development tools as Git, GitHub, text editors, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and Responsive web design.

• Marketers: Code and tweak collateral yourself
• Product Managers / Entrepreneurs: Build your own websites, or at least familiarize yourself with the processes your developers follow.
• Graphic Designers / UX Designers: Be independent and tweak your designs without needing a developer.
