ABS Consultant

Job description / Role

- Knowledge and experience in the application of Lean manufacturing / Toyota Production System across both manufacturing and support functions
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance
- Knowledge of 5S
- Knowledge of Daily Management Systems
- Knowledge of Multi-Day Kaizens
- Knowledge of Problem Solving – 5 Why’s, Fishbone, Root Cause Analysis
- Knowledge of Standardized Work
- Knowledge of A3’s
- Knowledge of Visual Management
- Proficiency with Windows and MS Office Suite
- Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations
- Strong facilitation and training skills to deliver Lean Manufacturing concepts, principles and practices
- Strong team building skills and the ability to facilitate team-based initiatives

Requirements

- B.Sc. Engineering, preferably Industrial, Management or related field with a strong technical background
- Minimum of 15-20 years Production or Engineering experience in a heavy industrial setting, 2 years as a Consultant preferably heavy industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business process improvement knowledge, and ability to train others with diverse backgrounds, education levels and culture.
