Job description / Role
Our client is a leading international PR/Communication agency, renowned for delivering innovative and strategic communication solutions to clients across various sectors. The Account Director will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the PR and communication landscape in KSA. The ideal candidate will ensure that the agency's operations align with its business goals, enhance client satisfaction, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the operations team to ensure seamless execution of all PR and communication campaigns.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the agency’s objectives.
• Oversee the allocation of resources to ensure optimal performance across all projects.
• Work closely with the client services team to ensure client satisfaction and the successful delivery of projects. Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, offering strategic advice and ensuring their needs are met.
• Mentor and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance team productivity.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Streamline processes to improve the delivery of services and reduce operational costs.
• Oversee the operational budget, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with the finance team to monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure that all operations adhere to local regulations and industry standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the agency’s interests.
• Support the business development team in pitching new business opportunities by providing operational insights and expertise.
• Contribute to the agency’s growth by identifying new opportunities for operational expansion.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management within the PR/Communication industry, preferably in KSA.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent understanding of the PR/Communication landscape in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working with a PR/Communication agency.
• Knowledge of the local regulatory environment and compliance requirements.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
