Account & Tax Manager - Saudi National

Job description / Role

• Maintains internal accounting books and records
• Manages Internal and external reporting
• Handle Credit management process for KSA business
• Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the function
• Undertakes additional tasks as and when required in relation to the finance function.

Maintenance of internal accounting books and records such as:
• Maintaining master data & charts of accounts in line with group structure
• Fixed asset recordings and maintenance
• Inventory assessment and adjustments
• Tax accounting (Deferred Tax, Income Tax & Zakat) including true ups
• Closing procedures and maintain books in line with IFRS and SAGA
• MJEs procedure in line with company SOP
• GL reconciliations

Manage Internal and external reporting as required from time to time, including:
• Intercompany reporting (ICS/TWINS)
• P&L and Balance sheet reporting (Magnitude SOLAR)
• Marco reporting
• Tax reporting (MyTax, Tax risk, CbCR)
• Publish HC package
• Financial statements as required for statutory purposes
• Cash Management and FX reporting (including Bank reconciliations)
• GAZT returns: VAT, WHT & CIT returns
• Accounts committee package
• Credit Committee Package

Handle Credit management process for KSA business:
• Manage Customer master data and credit information (including Credit limits)
• Communication with customer and reconciliation of accounts
• Collections procedures with Customers to ensure timely collection
• Block sales order management
• Invoice management (Revenue recognition) & booking of credit notes / adjustments
• Cash application
• DSO calculation, review and monitoring

• Performance manages the team through setting and reviewing priorities. Provides appropriate and timely feedback about performance and coaches team members to help them achieve their goals
• Supports the professional and career development of the team by identifying the skills and competencies that employees need for their current and prospective roles and provide opportunities to learn and practice new skills
• Leads the building of a motivated and engaged team through the use of formal and informal recognition, regular communications and the encouragement of cooperation between individuals and teams

Maintain Compliance:
• Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company

• Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Client , to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Client Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
• Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role

• To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work.

Employees are therefore expected to:

• Assist in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing measures to prevent recurrence
• Thoroughly read all safety documentation issues by the Company and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to their supervisor and / or manager.


• Education Level – suitable degree in finance and/or business management or CPA/CA or equivalent
• Experience – at least 5 years of experience working in finance function with reporting role and active cross functional involvement
• Skills – bilingual preferably Saudi (to interact with Govt. Authorities such as GAZT). Good understanding of Microsoft tools and accounting principles. Experience in Tax, SAP and Client tools will be considered as a plus.
