Accountant

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording and maintaining financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Support the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in VAT filing, tax compliance, and other regulatory reporting as per Saudi Arabian financial laws.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Support payroll processing by verifying employee records and payment details.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis under the guidance of Accounting Manager.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Identify discrepancies and work on resolving them in a timely manner.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, Conditional Formatting, etc.).
• Experience with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, etc.
• Basic understanding of Saudi VAT regulations and financial compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Salary:
SAR 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
