Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking to recruit for an Accounting & Internal Control Manager based in Riyadh with a large international trading business.

The Accounting & Internal Control Manager will be responsible to coordinate daily running of the accounting function in accounts payable, general accounting activities and account reconciliations while ensuring compliance to the various accounting policies, internal control guidelines and the various government legislations.

Principal Accountabilities:

* Oversee maintenance of Company General Ledger and its sub-ledgers such as Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable
* Oversee monthly and quarterly close process
* Ensure compliance to the delegation approval authority
* Monitor supplier payments and maintain accrual accounts.
* Handle and monitor Group Treasury activities.
* Overseeing the reconciliation of supplier accounts and General ledger accounts
* Coordination of Internal and external Audit
* Publishing new accounting policies and ensuring compliance thereof
* Implement an internal control testing plan.
* Prepare statutory financial reporting for consolidation purpose
* Ensure compliance to the various government reporting requirements such as Zakat, VAT, WHT etc.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

Education: Preferable with recognized accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) or other international recognized Financial Accounting qualification.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting & Statutory reporting in a multinational trading company , of which 3 years in supervisory position.

Skills:

* Proficient user of MS Excel
* Fluent in both English and Arabic.
* Hands on working experience in SAP will be a strong advantage

Must Have (candidates not meeting all below requirements will not be considered)

* Proven working experience in USGAAP, IFRS accounting or similar accounting standards
* Proven hands-on experience in working in a fully implemented ERP like Oracle, SAP, MFG-Pro or JD Edwards.
* Experience in multinational trading company with minimum revenue of SAR 100 Million
* 3 years' experience in supervisory role
* Strong command of English language

* Age group of 30-40 Years
* Effective writing & communication skill.
* Ability to work under pressure.
