Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World <br><br>Air Traffic Control Manager<br><br>The ATC Manager is responsible for managing the overall ATC radar and tower facility operations, as well as directly supervising assigned personnel. Responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield. Interfaces through oral and written instruction with contract personnel and customer agency representatives.<br>- Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. <br>- Coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information. <br>- Responsible for the safe, orderly flow of air traffic within their designated airspace and is familiar with radar or control tower operations applying the required separation of aircraft. <br>- Process flight plans, develop and supervise approach and departure procedures. <br>- Full working knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations, control tower and flight planning. <br>- Provides for the welfare of the personnel and the enhancement of the contract, to include optimizing the balance between resources of manpower, equipment, time, materials, and money. <br>- Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management, and interested US Government personnel apprised on status of operations and maintenance and any other special interest items. <br>- Perform other qualified duties as assigned. <br><br>Minimum Requirements:<br>- Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course. <br>- Eight (8) years of experience, two (2) years if ATC management, and One (1) year of experience must be from performing in a like type facility. <br>- Knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques; control tower and approach control operations. <br>- Shall hold one of the following radar certifications (ATCS certificate, FAA Credential, FAA or DoD training records) if staffed in a RADAR facility. <br>- Shall hold an FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate or FAA Credential with Tower rating if staffed in a Control Tower. <br>- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills. <br><br>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
