Analytics and BI Manager

The Analytics and BI Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven strategies, processes, and tools that enable informed business decisions. They will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reports.

Description

* Manage the analytics and business intelligence team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Develop and maintain a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the use of data to drive decision-making.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data and reporting needs, and develop analytics solutions to meet those needs.
* Develop and implement data analytics strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
* Oversee the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence dashboards and reports that enable informed decision-making.
* Ensure that data quality and accuracy are maintained by establishing data governance policies and procedures, and monitoring data quality metrics.
* Identify and implement data analytics best practices and tools to optimize data analysis and reporting.
* Manage vendor relationships related to analytics and BI tools, including contract negotiation, budget management, and performance tracking.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in analytics and BI, and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
* Ideally 7-10 years of experience in analytics and business intelligence, with a focus on data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
* At least 3 years of experience managing a team of data analysts or business intelligence professionals.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
* Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and manipulation.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data management best practices.
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
