Role Summary:

The APM Project Manager (Meridium Services) role will manage multiple complex customer projects within the scope of the program to ensure delivery within time, budget and contractual requirements. In this role, you're helping BHGE Digital target strategic accounts. You will be part of an "entrepreneurial" team that is focused on defining and delivering commercial software and analytics products for various BHGE customers, as part of GE's industrial internet initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of a solution on medium to large projects. He/She will drive the client implementation and will be involved in the development of several key project deliverables (e.g., charter, project/staffing plan, issue logs, etc.) and work with
the Client project manager
- Be responsible for the coordination of multiple, simultaneous software & infrastructure project, initiatives and assignments with broad scope and high impact to our customers
- Partner with engineering, product management and customers to deliver commercial products, supporting Industrial Internet initiatives, aimed at driving customer value
- Support project teams in analysis and review of Meridium APM deliverables to ensure high quality and customer confidence.
- Be accountable to support the project teams' through building relationships with the client; managing client expectations; and meeting and/or exceeding client goals
- Identify and understand client business needs and articulate them to technology teams effectively
- Oversee multiple, simultaneous, large scale and high impact activities within a customer (or multiple customers)
- Demonstrate the ability to work closely with partners/SI's in delivery of programs as needed
- Leverage commonalty between industries, see the trends and be an ambassador on how to position digital solutions effectively to drive change within a customer account
- Manage all relationships and aspects of client engagement and interaction, including advising on strategy and technology
- Report out to C-level executives on a regular basis
- Lead a matrixed team working on customer initiatives and coordinate Meridium APM work across multiple functions including service deployment, project management, engineering and delivery
- Interact with leadership teams at all levels in the organization to provide updates and to gather feedback
- Design and manage budgetary and operational frameworks within customer segments
- Build effective dashboards for frequent reviews with BHGE senior leaders and customers
- Author and deliver, statements of work (SOWs), project plans incorporating service and program management activities to support sales cycle
- Anticipate challenges and resolve conflicts
- Accountable for timely and accurate billing
- Serve as a coach/mentor to others on best practices for project delivery and execution; Act as an advisor to others in the area of customer satisfaction; focuses on tangible and intangible benefits to ensure customer awareness and satisfaction
- Act as a resource for others in solution design. Knows best practices which result in higher adoption of solutions based on product capabilities

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in process / mechanical engineering and/or in a "STEM" Majors (Science,Technology, Engineering and Math) from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading and managing large & complex business programs/projects
- Experience with delivering Meridium projects for industrial business in oil & gas markets
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management Certification
-Technical and functional aptitude is required in the field of asset management and/or in reliability methodologies such as RCA/RCM/FMEA/RBI
- Ability to travel 50% internationally, as required

Desired Characteristics:

- Minimum 7 years of experience in business systems analysis and support including working with all aspects of software development lifecycle (requirements to post release validation
- Minimum 10 years of experience with client facing service delivery roles
- Successful track record of delivering complex projects across multiple customer sites
- Capability to analyze, identify strategic aspects of enhancing and building client relationships
- Works well under pressure and delivers on time. Able to work independently and prioritize conflicts in a non-structured work environment
- Demonstrable track record of managing and growing account relationships through operations and service delivery capabilities
- Develops acceptable mitigation strategies that consider T&Cs of customers, competition and partners and key differentiators while also meeting business objectives
- Understands people's roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates
- Identifies and coordinates owners, sponsors, timelines, actions and deliverables for the deal, from proposal preparation until contract closure if applicable
- Leads peers and other enterprise leaders in consultative selling best practices and developing custom solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Proven track record in successful project execution for reliability improvement initiatives or large CMMS implementations such as SAP PM, Maximo or other enterprise systems
- Experience working in an IT environment or consulting organization
- Reliability certifications (CRE, CMRP, SSBB, RCM certification, etc.) are highly desirable
- Experience in plant maintenance and/or operations is highly desirable
- Increases client engagement to further drive pace and focus required to achieve business priorities and uncover desired outcomes for both customer and GE; Utilizes business acumen and domain experience to advise customer on critical success factors for initiative at hand; Influences customer to think ahead on what is needed to acquire, deploy, and utilize the solution
- Demonstrates integrity and trustworthiness; Remains at ease in ambiguous work situations and is open to change; Contributes to an environment where teams are encouraged to reach beyond themselves and connect across constituent groups
- Has demonstrable expertise and understanding of one or more products.
- Ability to communicate product capabilities internally and in customer facing situations. Can speak to key differentiators between our product capabilities and competing solutions
- Demonstrates ability to diagnose and solve basic to intermediate issues; Able to isolate moderately complex scenarios down to actionable items within designated job function; Can be utilized to problem solve at customer sites as BHGE representative
- Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated relationship management skills and strong emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with infrastructure (networks, servers, security, databases)
- Recognized as a knowledge leader in his/her area of expertise; Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems bringing definition and appropriate detail to simplify delivery, manage risk, and drive desired outcomes
- Able to adjust information (e.g. level of complexity) and story to align with audience; Produces functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts. Informs stakeholders of key customer issues, identifies potential problems or conflicts and resolves when necessary
