Job description / Role
The is a stand-alone application manager role with a top global investment bank based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be assuming complete responsibility of configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, liaising with appropriate vendors, enhancing and developing business applications for the local business.
* Providing support for the existing and new business applications within the organisation.
* Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of business applications.
* Deliver support to business user communities through troubleshooting and resolving application errors.
* Manage business users in identifying and proposing application system changes, enhancements and developments.
* Drive audit support (internal and external) and exchange relationships from a technology perspective.
* You will be in charge of testing new versions for the vendor software packages that are on the backbone of the organisation's system architecture used by their regional offices.
Requirements
* Due to Saudization, the client is only looking for KSA Nationals for this opportunity.
* Must have 5-7 years of experience with business application support in banking or financial services.
* Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
* Strong knowledge of web technology, Oracle Weblogic (SQL) and Oracle DB.
* Knowledge of OMS CSE application would be desirable or other similar brokerage application.
* Should be familiar with ITIL procedures (incident and change management).
