Apt Resources is seeking a skilled procurement officer specializing in power generator manufacturing and spare parts to join our client’s team in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and spare parts required for the production and maintenance of power generators. Your expertise in the manufacturing sector and your language skills will be invaluable in building relationships with suppliers and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations related to power generators.

Responsibilities

• Procure power generators and spare parts, ensuring adherence to project specifications and requirements
• Negotiate contracts and establish strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on price, quality, and delivery
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and assess potential products
• Manage the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast needs and align procurement strategies
• Monitor and analyze market trends to optimize procurement strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
• 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the power generator manufacturing or related industries
• Strong understanding of sourcing procedures and vendor management
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications
• Attention to detail, organizational efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
