Based in Riyadh or Jeddah a multinational management consultancy is looking for a new HR team member.

Job Overview:

This is a fantastic development opportunity for anyone excited by professional development. To coach and manage the professional development and staffing of consultants.

- Staffing: The individual will be responsible for staffing and will work closely with the Partner group and the rest of the PD/Staffing team ( based in Dubai) to set up the best possible teams. As a staffer, he/she will balance out the needs and preferences of the clients/Partners with the development needs of the consultants and make staffing decisions.
- Developing and coaching individuals and facilitating professional development: The individual will be excited to develop a professional relationship with each consultant in Saudi Arabia. This includes developing an understanding of their professional aspirations, strengths and development needs or relevant personal circumstances. He/she will monitor consultants’ development and satisfaction as to provide counsel on specific assignments and general skill development and guide them on the development path, work-life questions and other matters.
- Managing evaluations and feedback: This role will support in managing the formal consultant evaluation processes, together with the Dubai-based professional development colleagues.
- Learning: The PD Manager will ensure local trainings are rolled out successfully in Saudi-Arabia (supported by our Dubai-based Learning Coordinator).
- Projects: He/she might in addition be given the opportunity to drive and be part of a number of people initiatives related to the office’s people strategy. This can range from improving team experiences (including facilitated team learnings) to launching new initiatives, from the onboarding of senior colleagues to creating a vibrant office environment – topics are wide and change with changing circumstances and additional team capacity/passion.
- Reporting and managing information flow in the required systems: The individual will work closely with Finance and HR teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on engagements, assignments, ratings, per diems, etc. S/he will be responsible for periodic reporting on key department metrics, supported by our learning administrators.

Requirements

- The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of experience in a professional services firm either in a consultant role or in talent management or professional development.
- Undergraduate degree required – M.B.A. or other professional degree preferred
- Arabic fluency (must)
- Strong interest in professional development and coaching individuals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) at all levels; strong influencing capabilities
- Good problem-solving and analytic skills coupled with ownership mindset
- Ability to multitask and excellent process management skills
- Ability to adhere to the highest process standards and stand firm on decisions
- Ability to work under pressure and in conflict situations – finding win/win solutions among stakeholders with different priorities
- A can do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and in maintaining confidential information
