Area Crane Specialist

Job description / Role

- An exciting opportunity to join an international contractor working on projects across Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be based in the Eastern Province overseeing projects in KSA. Responsibilities include
- Diagnosis and repair ,
- Assembling, reconfiguration, and testing of large crawler cranes and mobile cranes,
- Crane inspections
- Advising on crane suitability
- Health and Safety and Emergency response

- A recognized qualification from a trade school, technical college or university in vehicle engineering or mechanical engineering with an electrical/electronic component.
- Previous experience of a minimum of five years as a service engineer or similar role for a crane manufacturer, official dealership, or large crane rental company.
- Diverse Equipment Knowledge: Ideally experience with different types and manufacturers of mobile and crawler cranes.
- Familiar with assembling, reconfiguration, and testing large crawler cranes and mobile cranes using the manufacturers manuals, procedures, and drawings.
- Conduct crane inspections, including checking wire ropes, hoists, hydraulic electrical systems, safety devices and structural components, repair and diagnose issues related to mechanical parts, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
- Fluent in English.
