Area Sales Manager - Technical Sales Engineer - Mechanical - Industrial

Our client, a specialist in production of cables and pipe seals requires an Area Sales Manager to join them in Eastern province Saudi Arabia.

The main responsibilities will be:

- Maintaining and increasing sales of the sealing systems
- Provide specialist technical advice to our clients
- Project registration and pre-qualification
- Specification of the system with leading EPC contractors
- Working with operators and EPC contractors to approve and standardize the sealing system
- Using and demonstrating the design software
- Training customers on how to use the products
- Achieving the annual budget and the long term targets for KSA market
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base
- Developing business opportunities and managing a sales pipeline
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors

Requirements

- Suitable candidates will have an engineering background from a reputable university or institute in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Petroleum engineering, a master’s degree in engineering or business would be an additional benefit with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Saudi Arabian market preferred.
- Direct exposure with the oil and gas industry including working with Saudi Aramco preferred.
- Proven record of successful specifications selling of engineering products.
- Proven experience for Key Account and/or Project management for major players in KSA.
- Fluent in Arabic and English
