Job description / Role
This role will lead the Asset management function and ensure processes and procedures are in place for the department. Furthermore, it will monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement, such as cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk reduction.
Client Details
Our client is involved in a large scale real estate brownfield projects in the KSA region with a focus on various different asset classes across a large area. The different asset classes include Cultural and Historical, Retail and Lifestyle and Hospitality.
Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement asset management strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives of the organization.
* Oversee the planning, acquisition, and disposal of assets.
* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset data.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the effective management of assets.
* Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement, such as cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk reduction.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments of asset management practices and recommend changes or improvements as needed.
* Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals.
* Develop and maintain policies and procedures for asset management.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and legal, to ensure the effective management of assets across the organization.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in asset management and recommend changes to the organization's asset management strategy as needed.
* Analyze and report on asset performance metrics, including return on investment, utilization rates, and maintenance costs.
* Participate in the development and implementation of capital budgets and long-term asset management plans.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to asset management, such as environmental regulations.
* Manage and mitigate risks associated with asset management, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.

Requirements:
* The successful candidate will be strong in Asset Management with a focus on large and complex projects.
* Strong leadership skills and management skills are required.
* A Master's Degree and more than 15 years' experience will be preferred.
