Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Chief Concierge to join our prestigious luxury hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our concierge team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive world-class service and unforgettable experiences during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Concierge in overseeing daily operations of the concierge desk
- Provide personalized recommendations and arrange services for guests, including dining reservations, transportation, and cultural experiences
- Manage and mentor junior concierge staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Resolve complex guest inquiries and concerns with tact and professionalism
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and services in Jeddah and surrounding areas
- Implement and uphold luxury service standards across the concierge team
- Assist in developing and improving concierge services and procedures
- Handle VIP guest requests and special arrangements
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of guest preferences and requests across shifts
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort concierge role
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Les Clefs d'Or certification preferred
- Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in hotel management software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience
- In-depth knowledge of Jeddah's attractions, dining, and cultural scene
- Thorough understanding of luxury hospitality standards and practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating lasting memories
