Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing

Job description / Role

We are recruiting an Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing to join our Hotel. We are looking for a rising star who is driven, hungry and loves Travel and Tourism and selling one of the best Hotels in Jeddah!

What you will be doing:

- The Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing will proactively drive new business into the hotel
- Target and contract new direct, consortia and agency business as required and in line with the hotel sales strategy for the Domestic and International market
- Manage and develop existing accounts and hunt for new business
- Network and influence the brand global sales teams
- Conduct regular trips to see clients and attend trade shows

Requirements

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

- Hotel sales & marketing experience is essential
- A proven track record of successful account management and business development essential
- A self-motivated, proactive and can-do proactive attitude is required.
- Tenacious, hungry and accountable & ready to go to the next level in your career
- This role is for a hungry go getter not an account manager
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to travel freely is essential
