Description
• Scope of Service: ORL, Dental, Ophthalmol
• HOURS OF OPERATIONS: 24 hours daily, 7 days a week
• No. of Beds: 30
There are 30 beds on this Unit specifically designated to Otolaryngology, Head & Neck and Nephrology.
D3-1 provides nursing care primarily to adult patients and a selected group of hemodynamically stable pediatric patients (see Criteria for Admission) with malignant and/or congenitally related diseases who have malignant disease requiring complex diagnostic work-up, major complex surgery or treatment followup.
The Unit performs endoscopic examinations and minor procedures such as biopsies on occasion in the D3-1 treatment room. The Unit also provides clinical rotation to nursing interns, interim staff nurses, graduates and students.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin required.
• Four (4) years hospital experience as a registered nurse with at least one (1) year of nursing leadership experience required.
