Assistant Maintenance Manager - Facility Management - Large commercial facility
Our client, a facility management contractor on a large commercial facility requires an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join on a permanent residential basis in Jeddah, KSA.
The main responsibility of the role is for all operational activities on site including assumption of ownership of facilities, interfacing with client, organising and monitoring of contractors and planning and scheduling of routine activities and maintenance interventions.
The Assistant Maintenance Manager will oversee employees to ensure they achieve objectives set, comply with policies, procedures and operational requirements and receive the necessary training. You will oversee development and implementation of all operational programs and other contingency plans and ensure all client facility systems are properly maintained and preventive maintenance carried out according to schedule.
Suitable candidates will have a Bachelor of Engineering preferably in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in the field of maintenance and repair in a large organisation on a large commercial facility like a university, hospital or mall etc. You will have demonstrated a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a leadership capacity and will have experience in asset management and condition surveys.
