Position overview

We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Assistant Outlet Manager to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will support the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a motivated, well-trained team. This role requires a proactive leader with strong communication skills, a passion for service excellence, and a commitment to maintaining Miraval's brand standards. Fluency in Arabic is required for this role to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the outlet to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead and supervise the team, ensuring high levels of engagement, performance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Support training and development initiatives for team members in line with Miraval's service philosophy.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety.
  • Handle guest feedback promptly and effectively to ensure service recovery.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage cost controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required.
  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and F&B operations best practices.
  • Passion for wellness and delivering exceptional guest service.

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
