Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As an integral part of our management team, you will help oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth service
• Supervise and motivate staff to maintain high standards of food quality and customer service
• Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs to maximize profitability
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Participate in menu planning and implementation of new initiatives
• Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership skills
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food preparation
• Analyze sales data and suggest improvements to increase revenue

Qualifications

• Saudi nationality required
• Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in the food service industry
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Food Safety Certification required
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian cuisine and dining customs
• Familiarity with local food safety regulations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
