Employment: Full Time

Client is looking for a Business Development – Agro & Food to lead business operations and drive sales in the UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for growing Client’s P&L in key categories including Food/FMCG and more, working closely with our exporter partners.

You will be responsible for generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting sales targets. To be successful as a sales executive you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, a top-notch sales executive should be able to build rapport with customers and close sales.

• Build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients such as Distributors, Wholesalers, Hyper market & Retailers.
• Should be an expert in commodities trading.
• Well versed with the export industry
• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching, analyzing sales options and negotiating commercials terms.
• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Requirements: What do we expect you to have?
• 3-4 years of B2B Sales experience in commodities in Saudi Arabia with cross-geographical operational complexity in key export categories
• Knowledge: Business and Commercial acumen and understanding of Product, Pricing, Industry Standards and Compliances.
• Has on going business relations with distributors and wholesalers at ownership or CXO level.
• Industry Background: Commodities

• Communication and interpersonal skills: Humility, Trust, Active listening, and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results through influence and negotiation
• Data-driven: Keen interest in evaluating product/market situations, and taking decisions based on data
• An entrepreneurial mindset combined with a first principle thinking.
