Associate Architect

Job description / Role

Randstad is working with an international architecture and engineering consultancy in the search for an Associate or Associate Director level candidate to join the team in Riyadh, KSA. The Associate / Associate Director will be client facing and responsible for leading simultaneous projects through all design stages ensuring the clients requirements are delivered. This person will be instrumental in ensuring the Riyadh office is running effectively and the highest of standards are being met. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the most complex projects across the Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

- Lead client meetings and project reviews of internal and external multidisciplinary teams, checking project deliverables for accuracy
- Lead, coordinate and manage the work of the multi-disciplinary teams including external and specialist consultants and partners
- Oversee operations of the architecture department including resourcing, recruitment, interviewing and management duties
- Lead and cooordinate value engineering efforts
- Contribute to the design and delivery of innovative design solutions and emerging technologies with market insights
- Develop and support standardised procedures to achieve project delivery excellence
- Contribute to the preparation of bids
- Work closely with the Director in developing new client relations

To be considered, candidates must have:

- 15 - 20 years of experience in architecture and design
- Bachelor / Masters Degree in Architecture
- Professional registration (preferred)
- International project experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent client facing and communications skills
- Working knowledge of BIM/Revit

Salary:
SAR 40,000 to 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
