Job description / Role

The Opportunity:

A premier international law firm and award-winning market leader is seeking an experienced Lawyer to join the growing Corporate department based in Riyadh, KSA. 

The firm has a long-standing presence in the region, thus the successful applicant will collaborate with colleagues throughout the region and the globe to deliver advice to multi-jurisdictional clients on all aspects of Corporate law, from strategy, due diligence, and integration. 

The team is active in transactions including M&A, private equity, venture capital and ECM, offering a broad portfolio of matters to an incoming professional. 

This position is ideal for an Associate with mid to senior experience, ideally currently based in KSA.

The Requirements:

Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Post qualification experience operating across a range of Corporate law matters within an international practice;
- Excellent academic track record;
- A demonstrated record of business development including maintaining key relationships, mentoring junior staff, contributing to pitches;
- Strong degree of confidence in drafting and research tasks with a degree of autonomy;
- A self-starter with commercial acumen, good financial awareness.

Ideal but not essential:
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) proficiency;
- KSA based.
