Job description / Role
Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is recruiting Associate Technical Engineer - Civil / Structural, to further increase the capacity and knowledge base of the well - established Civil / Structural Engineering department. This will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of Wood. projects
- Familiar with Saudi Building Code and International standards
- Demonstrates ability to work with others
- Has demonstrated capabilities in designing independently with minimum supervision
- Must have basic knowledge of civil design practices, calculations, design details
- Aware of and able to use design and assessment methods under supervision
- Aware of analytical methods used within discipline and theoretical background for analysis programs
- Able to identify personal training / education opportunities
- Highly motivated with an innovative and analytical mind
- Able to communicate ideas to senior personnel
Requirements
Skills / Qualifications
- Required Knowledge
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Equivalent
- Should be proficient in Microsoft office software (Word and Excel). Knowledge of STAAD - Pro will be an advantage
- Should also be familiar with editing, opening, and reading drawings in AutoCAD / MicroStation
