Aviation Business Manager

Job description / Role

Responsibilities

- Manage and optimize key airport systems, including the Airport Operational Database (AODB) and check-in systems, to streamline processes and ensure seamless integration with other airport functions.
- Oversee system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize disruptions in operations.
- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements within the airport ecosystem.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights into new technologies or upgrades that could enhance airport operations.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with the overall business goals and the unique requirements of the airport environment
- Ensure adherence to international aviation standards, including IATA, ICAO, and ACI, to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold best practices in airport management.
- Regularly review and implement updates in standards to keep operations aligned with the latest industry protocols.
- Provide guidance on technical infrastructure requirements, particularly in the context of expanding airport operations or integrating new technologies.
- Lead and oversee projects related to system upgrades, new technology implementations, or process improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

- Bachelor's degree in related technical field
- Strong hands-on experience with airport systems, specifically AODB and check-in systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of international aviation standards, including IATA, ICAO, and ACI.
- Solid background in business analysis, preferably within the aviation or airport management sector.
- Proven track record of project management within complex technical environments.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
