Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Barge Master Responsibilities:
• Overall Operations: Manage the safe operation and navigation of the barge, ensuring compliance with maritime and environmental regulations.
• Safety: Oversee crew safety, conduct drills, and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
• Maintenance & Compliance: Supervise maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Ensure compliance with international standards (SOLAS, MARPOL).
• Logistics & Reporting: Maintain operation logs, report status to management and clients, and coordinate with shore teams.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Certifications: Barge Master or Master Mariner (STCW), offshore survival training (BOSIET).
• Experience: 5+ years in offshore marine roles, strong leadership, and decision-making skills
