Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a globally law firm that is looking for a Banking and Finance Solicitor with 7 - 8 PQE + to play a key role in its market leading and top ranked offering in Riyadh, working closely with the Dubai office.
The role will involve covering the full mix of banking work, covering the conventional and Islamic finance aspects of the full range of finance legal work i.e. corporate lending, project, leverage, acquisition finance etc. You will work closely with the Partners and clients in relation to playing an significant role in relation to transactions in the Riyadh office. The firm works with the leading financial institutions, SWF’s, Governments, sponsors, lenders, corporate in the region, so an excellent opportunity to join a market leader with excellent long-term career prospects.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a fully bilingual Arabic & English qualified banking lawyer, with c. 7 - 8 pqe +, based either in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere in the Middle East with legal directories rated firm experience, or interested in relocating to Riyadh. The firm is interested in a high calibre individual with a training / experience at a leading firm, excellent academics, who is looking to develop their long-term career. Experience of Islamic and all aspects of finance is not required, although candidates interested in building broad experience.
