Our newest opportunity is for a talented BIM Manager to join our award-winning team based in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia on a Hospitality project.

Please note that this role is in a fairly remote location therefore it will be more suited to a candidate that can consider living in such conditions.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

- Providing strategic leadership of BIM across the division to ensure the successful implementation and development of BIM processes. Leads and manages BIM at operational level to ensure consistency of BIM use and processes to support all stages of projects.
- Developing and implementing the proposed Program-wide BIM system strategy and standards
- Monitoring consultants and contractors compliance with BIM strategy and standards.
- Supporting IT to manage inventory of BIM software, licenses and systems.
- Performing the role of an Project Information Manager and/or Task Team Manager for all BIM outputs and deliverables
- Providing hands-on training to internal disciplines i.e. Revit, Dynamo, Revit Addins, Naviswork, BIM360, Solibri and others as required.
- Carrying out BIM validation reviews i.e. BIM's, documentation files (schedules and drawing sheets), model checkers, design clash detection, visual checks, BIM360, QAQC checklists, RDS, Dynamo, COBie or any other applicable.
- Implementing and monitoring utilisation of BIMs in all cost activities by the division.
- Implementing and monitoring utilisation of BIMs in project control activities
- Implementing and monitoring utilisation of BIMs in H&S activities
- Assisting procurement team in tender development and award e. BIM capability assessment, execution plan, level of development matrix, models, registers, dummy TQ's, service agreements and appointments
- Monitoring and confirming the utilisation of BIM during construction activities
- Monitoring and confirming integration of Consultants/Contractors systems with BIM
- Carrying out BIM/design reviews, across all design stages or specific design packages
- Managing the BIM/design process such that the highest quality of design deliverables is submitted for project team reviews.
- Ensuring and validating that co-ordination with other design discipline review teams are carried out.
- Carrying out BIM/design reviews with respect to relevant local and international design codes of practice.
- Carrying out design reviews with respect to the client's performance and/or detailed functional brief.
- Monitoring the resubmissions of BIM design deliverables to ensure that all review actions have been responded and/or integrated.
- Chairing BIM review meetings/workshops with Client including consultants and contractors.
- Contributing specialist expertise that will enhance the outputs of the design consultants and contractor in line with the BIM objectives of the project.
- Pro-actively forecasting and monitoring progress for design actions that are on the critical path of design/construction.
- Creating and maintaining project tracking documents for design outputs and reviews.
- Providing BIM updates into to weekly and monthly reports on status of design.
- Engaging teams to participate and collaborate in internal forums.
- May perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a Bachelor's Degree and 15 years of relevant experience.
- Continued advanced training and awareness in the latest BIM software, processes, standards and best practices by other industry users. Other International Construction related institutes i.e. RICs, CIOB, CIAT etc. are considered.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of BIM360 is needed for the role.
