Job description / Role
• BIM Implementation and Management: Oversee the planning, management, and coordination of BIM implementation across company projects, ensuring effective utilization of BIM technology to improve project design, construction, and operational management efficiency.
• Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the BIM team, assigning daily tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring the quality of work meets company standards. Supervise the team to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• BIM Design and Approval: Work closely with design teams to create, optimize, and validate BIM models. Ensure the models meet project requirements and successfully navigate the approval process.
• Technical Support and Training: Provide BIM technical support and training to project teams, enhancing their skills and ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest BIM tools and techniques.
• BIM Standards and Procedures: Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows within the company, ensuring the application of standardized and consistent practices across all projects.
• Cross-department Collaboration: Collaborate with design, construction, procurement, and other departments to ensure the seamless integration and application of BIM models at every stage of the project, ensuring smooth project execution.
• BIM Innovation and Optimization: Keep up with the latest developments in BIM technology and industry trends, promoting the innovation and optimization of BIM applications and processes to continuously improve the company's BIM capabilities.
• Project Reporting and Updates: Provide regular updates to senior management on BIM project progress, including project status reports, issue tracking, and proposed solutions to challenges.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or similar role.
• Proficient in BIM design software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, etc.) and have extensive experience in BIM project management.
• Familiar with BIM design processes, approval workflows, and the technical challenges involved in BIM implementation, with the ability to independently manage large-scale BIM projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to completion within established timelines.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of remaining calm under pressure and finding effective solutions to complex challenges.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to understand and interpret English documentation, standards, and technical manuals.
Salary:
SAR
20,000 to 30,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
