Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our Renewable Value Chain and Investment Division (RVC&ID) within our Power Systems.

RVC&ID performs opportunity scanning for Saudi Aramco facilities and affiliates, upfront business case development, high level feasibility study, identifies strategic alignment and coordinates with technical teams for detailed site-specific engineering analysis for residential, commercial, and industrial scales for different facilities.

Your primary role will be to lead and support the screening, planning and development of new renewables business ventures and investments by applying knowledge in the area of renewable business case development, stakeholder's alignment and transaction management. This includes mergers & acquisitions, JV development and 3rd Party transactions. You will be expected to support complex transaction teams with minimal direction and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Identify opportunities and build business cases.

Maintain and ensure an extensive knowledge of current market conditions & future trends with all concerned stakeholders.

Interpret and support financial due diligence on potential opportunities with different valuation methodologies and recommend courses of action.

Manage relationships with third party developers, project off-takers and co-developer.

Support transaction leader in deal structuring, negotiation strategies, and financial due diligence.

Review and recommend course of action on contractual and binding documents such as Shareholder Agreements, Project Development Agreements, O&M Agreements, Financial Agreements, and Equity Subscription & retention Agreements.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

You must hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical/Renewable). Master's Degree is desirable.

You should have a minimum of 7 years work experience in renewables, business development and transactions.

Project management skills are preferred.
