Business Development Manager (Petrochemicals)

Reports to GM you will be responsible Business Development, Relationship Development with existing Customers, Regional & International Markets. Execution of sustaining current Business and Further Growth in all Segments of Key Markets. Improve Customer Satisfaction with quick responses to Customer Complaints.


• Responsible for Business Development, Marketing Sales of Calcium Carbonate to different industries in Paper, Pulp, Pigments, Paints, Coating Industry;
• Responsible majorly for International Market and also for GCC Countries;
• Develops & Implements - Strategic Marketing - Sales Plans and Forecasts to achieve Corporate Objectives for Products and Services;
• Ensures effective Control of Marketing Results, and takes Corrective Action to Guarantee that Achievement of Marketing Objectives Falls within Designated Budgets;
• Identify and qualify New Business Leads and approach New Customers from different Industries and Regions;
• Establishes and maintains relationships with Industry Influencers and Key Strategic Partners.
• Monitors Competitor Products, Sales, and Marketing Activities;
• Guides preparation of Marketing Activity Reports and Presents to Management;
• Directs Sales Forecasting activities and Sets Performance Goals accordingly;
• Directs Market Channel Development Activity and coordinates Sales Distribution by establishing Sales Territories, Quotas, and Goals;
• Meets with Key Clients, assisting Sales Supervisors with Maintaining Relationships and Negotiating and Closing Deals;
• Prepares Periodic Sales Report (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Yearly) showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion;
• Reviews and Analyses Sales Performances against Programs, Quotes and Plans to determine effectiveness;
• Generate New Leads by Cold Calls, Scheduling an Appointment, visiting Potential Clients/Companies, ensuring Closure;
• Payment Cycles and Collection Follow Up needs to be Maintained and Logged as a Prime Responsibility;



• MBA in Sales & Marketing from an Accredited University;
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in Selling Compounds;
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English & Arabic;
• Must be able to travel and be Presentable and highly motivated
• Preference will be given to Candidates with similar background
• Technical knowledge of uses of Calcium Carbonate and Compounded Calcium Carbonate; preferable
• Proficient in utilization of MS Office Products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, PowerPoint;
• Familiarity with Middle East and International Markets;
• Very good in Writing Business Mails & Product Exhibition
• Business Acumen; Customer/Client Focus;
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate Future Trends/Consequences and create Innovative Strategies and Flexible Plans;
• Team Work, Result Oriented, Customer Driven Approach
