Employment: Full Time

As a Business Development Manager for our Project Logistics Team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting strategic, Saudi Arabia business development initiatives within below Logistics Industry:
- Oil & Gas
- Chemicals & Petrochemicals
- Energy

You will develop opportunities and supply chain solutions in order to meet the customer needs, while utilizing and expanding our product and service suite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist management to develop the Project Logistics Product strategy that balances short term requirements with long term business plans
- Manage the Business Development process for business to ensure that the company achieves sales target in all businesses. Plan, direct and coordinate business development activities at the highest level of management. Conduct and manage client presentations.
- Coordinate with Operation Manager for the preparation and submission of proposals for a potential customers
- To ensure that the enquiries are screened and to determine for analysis a sales strategy, profit potential and to ensure of customer needs meet the expectations.
- Direct, collaborate, and guide teams in developing service solutions for customers across multiple verticals that Project Logistics supports.
- Prioritize opportunities and vertical segments in accordance with resources, time, and value.
- Monitor key competitor actions and determine threats to current or potential business
- Initiate proper registration and compliance with regulatory provisions in order to participate in or pursue new business opportunities
- Liaison with estimation and MD on submission of invoice documents.
- Identify and evaluate Project Logistics opportunities based on their fit with the overall strategy
- Aggressively pursue high priority, high impact opportunities in order to generate the expected incremental growth in volume and profit to meet the annual business plan targets (team based and/or individual).
- Determine applicability of solutions for each client and identify areas for expansion of same
- Foster established client relationships and business to generate additional organic service opportunities with same
- Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively recommending solutions to customers
- Gather, analyse market intelligence for new clients, projects and opportunities.

Requirements

- Proven track record of business development in the freight & logistics with a good understanding of shipment issues.
- Strong interpersonal sales leadership skills specific to client facing negotiations; creative and inspiring awareness of client issues; ability to sell solutions
- Experience with large Oil & Gas, EPC and OEM International companies
- International and domestic supply chain and project logistics experience. Preferably in Middle East.
- Knowledge of key international clients developing business in Middle East, worked previously for one of them in the past for projects with some of these clients.
- Highly motived , well organised, resourceful and proactive with marketing awareness
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development function. Experience in international freight & logistics terms, rules and regulations, dealing with clients and clearing agents.
- Preferably with a bachelor degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain / Logistic or similar
- Excellent English Communication Skills. Arabic language would be an advantage
- Exceptional customer awareness, sales skills in the business development and marketing aspects in with ability to market company services to the various clients.
- Fully conversant in modern computer aided planning technologies and operations management processes.
