Job description / Role
A well-established consumer good business is on the look out for a business development officer to be based in Saudi Arabia to assist the business development managers and trade marketing manager in implementing projects and campaigns that will drive the business.
As a business development officer, you are responsible for:
- Identifying new leads and potential new markets
- Researching the needs of other companies and deploying appropriate assets to key clients
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
- Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
Requirements
- 3 years of sales/ merchandising experience handling HORECA/ OOH channels
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Socially adept
- Good with numbers
- Strong communication and IT fluency
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
- Excellent time management and organization
