Business Development & Program Manager
Our client, a philanthropic organisation requires a Business Development and Program Manager to join on a permanent, residential basis in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The platform will aim at assessing the needs in Saudi society and create initiatives that provide financial support to segments in need in society through convenient mechanisms.
The Business Development and Program Manager of The Program is accountable for growing the platform to identify where the needs exist in society to target The Program’s charitable efforts conceptualizing and putting in motion targeted initiatives in line with The Program’s objectives and within the guidelines, timeline, and budgetary constraints.
The scope includes: scanning the needs in society to prioritise focus areas, conceptualize initiatives, design the initiatives in detail (including their operating model, application processes, and securing key partnerships that will help in implementing them), budget for the initiatives and disbursement mechanisms, and design the execution and communication plan in collaboration with other teams in the organisation. The Business Development and Program Manager’s accountabilities, include, but are not limited to Strategy & Planning & Design, External Stakeholders Engagement, People Leadership, Policies, Processes & Procedures, Recommend improvements and Reporting.
Requirements
Suitable candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g. business, economics, communication, engineering, political science) from a reputable university with 5-7 years of relevant experience in conceptualizing and launching highly visible projects, at least 5 of which should be in a management role in a services oriented government organisation or private sector. Experience supporting similar organization through the start-up phase, delivering results under pressure and tight deadlines.
Successful candidates will have competencies in Strategic thinking, Programs management, Business development, Performance Orientation (Measurement, Accountability, Results), Project management skills, incl. working under short deadlines, risks understanding and mitigation and understanding of Saudi context (society, government, economy, corporations).
