Job Summary

Acuity are currently looking for experienced Management Consultant with experience in Business Process Reengineering and Operational Excellence. The candidate will lead the delivery of projects across the region with a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role will be based in the MENA region, and the successful candidate will be reporting to the Director of Managing Consultancy. The candidate will be a specialist in business processes and be able to manage Projects from inception to close.

Technical Responsibilities

Expected technical responsibilities include
Plan and execute stakeholder workshops to gather information
Present to clients and Project stakeholders
Development of Business Process Architectures / Framework aligned to business requirements
Development of Business Processes (Level 1 – Level 5) as aligned to APQC or similar
Understanding of Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)
Develop processes on either a digital platform or on Microsoft Visio
Review and assess business operations to identify operational excellence areas
Develop KPI’s aligned to business processes
Develop supporting procedures if required
Business Responsibilities

Expected business responsibilities include:
Support the development of the Acuity business and Corporate strategy
Support and lead the development of Acuity Offerings
Support development of ‘Go-to-Market’ strategy, approach and supporting material
Support pipeline development activities and opportunities
Leverage existing network of clients and build new relationships within target market
Supervise the performance of junior staff, providing clear direction and regular monitoring, while giving feedback and constructive criticism
Oversee and manage the delivery of Project deliverables
Manage bid proposals in response to RfPs coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Manage and grow existing accounts demonstrating strong account management practices
Represent Atkins Acuity by speaking at relevant seminars and conferences

Requirements

Basic Competencies

The basic competencies include
Shall be qualified with a degree (preferably Business Management, Project Management, Information Technology or Engineering)
Five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management, management consultancy or an advisory services capacity
The ideal candidate should be someone who has worked in a Management Consultant capacity preferably with a Big Four Consultancy or Global strategy houses or international management consultancies in the Middle East region.
Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience of planning & reporting tools, including MS Project, Primavera – P6, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is advantageous
Compliance best practices in management and improving business processes
Excellent commercial and financial acumen related to project budgeting and cost estimation is advantageous
Self-motivated and determined to pursue continuous improvement, which is essential to processes & procedures development
Strong data management and detail oriented
Sector exposure and experience of the following areas:
Infrastructure development & Construction
Transport, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
Public administration
Municipal services and urban development

Excellent planning and organisation skills

Planning and Organizational agility: Accurately scopes length and difficulty of projects, setting realistically aggressive objectives and goals. Compensates for roadblocks and looks ahead to see impact on dependent activities.
Consistently achieves high quality standards and requires limited direction and supervision
Shows flexibility in tasks and location, and deals well with ambiguity
Excellent communication skills – written and spoken English is essential (Arabic preferred)
