Lead the execution of category activation marketing strategy/plan within the cluster/ market through direct work with external agencies or with internal cross functional teams (ex; sales, CP&A, etc.). The role leverage links between the cluster/market and the category. The role works closely with the Market Sales teams to deliver plan through superior consumer and customer activation.

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
• Lead the execution of the category marketing "BTL" plans in the country aligned with the category strategy for P&L delivery with a monthly / quarterly and annual horizon.
• Lead Shopper Marketing in terms of in-store strategy development & execution; including POSM and other in store branded communication.
• Lead the development & execution of consumer & customer activations; sampling, on ground activation, in store and consumer promotions in collaboration with the cross functional teams.
• Market visits to key markets on regular basis to ensure execution of key initiatives is taking place as per plan.
• Manage A&C budget to optimize marketing programs as per the set marketing Calendar; raising Projects (CFN & EBPs) for finance department regarding every activity. Ensuring all supporting documents are enclose and answering all queries about plan, activity and supplier choice if requested - followed up by monthly receipting on system.
• Monthly tracking of P&L results vs. AC - analyzing A&C spends by month & quarter in collaboration with A&P analysts.
• Assisting senior category brand manager in delivering on TNS (trades budget) yearly AC target.
• Collaborates with the Equity &Innovation team to develop insight led and strategically relevant communication that drive brand health and category growth within the cluster/market
• Prepare annual brief with budget to media & creative agencies together with Equity team & Marketing service manager.
• Manage agencies (day to day); creative/advertising, PR, media buying including Full year annual media laydowns, monthly media plans as well as digital and social media strategy.
• Leads the brands social & digital monthly calendar; including the development of digital assets and distribution strategy across different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & twitter).
• Participates in evaluating creative communication (TV & outdoor), to ensure the most motivating messaging reaches target consumers.
• Lead the connection planning for the local market.
• Manages BTL agencies in developing all packaging and in store material.
• Leads the development of packaging change/update in coordination with quality, PCM and procurement teams.
• Responsible for the execution of the new product launches from the product development stage (financial assessment, pricing & profitability strategies & packaging) to commercialization (distribution targets, route to market strategy & consumer communication KPIs) with all relevant cross functional teams.
• Lead the biweekly calls with all cross functions regarding on going product changes alongside category PCM member.

Requirements

Knowledge including: Education, Qualifications and Training
• University degree in Marketing or commercial or applicable working experience
• Excellent Knowledge of English language
• Strong PC literacy (Excel, PP)
