Employment: Full Time

• To lead the end-to-end strategic and operational activities of the Center of Excellence. This includes overseeing the conduction of regular economic evaluation of KSA health budget, producing and maintaining nation-wide coding and costing standards and developing robust policy options aimed at improving overall casemix information.

Description
• Lead the development and monitor the execution of the CoE strategy based on KSA's overall health sector transformation objectives
• Ensure the timely provision of input to Departments, in line with the approved governance process, to ensure that CoE plans and programs are reflected in the individual department strategies
• Oversee the CoE's operational performance through set KPIs and targets, and continuously identify and recommend improvements to enable the achievement of the CoE strategic objectives
• Provide National and Regional CoE program leadership including end-to-end accountability for overall strategic and operational activities and signing off work produced by the CoE stakeholders such as business cases, proposals, research, reports and other resources produced
• Drive the development and the communication of the strategic plan/mission statement for the CoE
• Oversee the conduction of end-to-end economic evaluation of KSA health budget, systems and expenditures and drive the reporting of current and predicted needs in order to inform MoH policy plans and relevant strategic initiatives
• Set the direction for developing and/or reviewing relevant and up-to-date costing standards that are fit for use in KSA Oversee the literature synthesis and data analysis undertaken by the CoE for developing robust policy options aimed at improving overall casemix information

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a hospital or health services (ideally in clinical) domains in which atleast 3 years are in a senior managerial role.
• Previous exposure to health service management in an activity based funding or ACO environment, including an understanding of clinical coding and costing in a casemix or ACO environment is expected.
• Demonstrated knowledge in hospital operations and clinical activity with advanced skills consultation, negotiation and project management skills.
