Employment: Full Time

Mackenzie Jones Middle East are seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a high profile organisation based in Riyadh. Reporting to the CEO this role will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing finance policies and procedures whilst ensuring compliance by the company. Furthermore, the role holder is responsible for overseeing all activities related to financial planning, MIS, taxes, budgeting, treasury and investor relations.

Participates in the development of the company strategy and contributes to the overall process of management and corporate decision making as part of the senior leadership team

Sets the business direction and vision for the Finance Department, by articulating the strategic priorities for the organization in collaboration with the senior leadership team

Establishes the Finance Department's goals and KPI's in line with priorities, to support growth while providing a robust and effective Financial Reporting infrastructure.

Directs and manages the sub department functions and facilitates work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.

Works in coordination with various departments for development of strategic business plans, budgets and forecasts through financial and business planning models.

Ensures efficient and effective management of company finances through all necessary financial controls, systems and processes and ensure accuracy and integrity of the financial and tax records.

Directs the preparation and analysis of all financial reports and financial standards according to SOCPA standards / IASB / IFRS

Ensure effective cash management and related risk for and its subsidiaries.

Requirements

Master's degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration with specialisation in Finance and /or Professional Accounting Qualification is essential

A minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant experience with at least 4 - 5 years in a similar leadership role

Prior experience in managing the corporate finance function of a large, internationally operating, organization with exposure to financial control, financial reporting, etc.

Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Islamic Finance

Knowledge of international and intercompany tax systems

Knowledge of related government legislations and regulations, including (international) tax laws and regulations

Strong analytical, business acumen and critical thinking skills

Ideally fluent in Arabic, excellent command of written and spoken English essential
