Chief Accountant

Job description / Role

• Acting as the first person responsible for consolidating and reporting results of the company with detailed variance analysis to Middle East Region Control Group.
• Supporting Accounting Manager in monthly closure of books, detailed review of results and statutory closure.
• First person responsible for closing statutory accounts and coordinating with Audit firms for statutory and tax audits.
• Facilitating review’s related to balance sheet reviews, account reconciliations, Controller ACAs, internal audits
• Acting as a key control owner in the Financial Reporting Cycle
• Coordinate on resolving intercompany differences/disputes
• Ensuring compliance with company finance manual as it pertains to financial reporting cycle.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• CPA/ACCA / CA
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Knowledge of HFM

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field
• Multinational experience or big 4 experience is a must
