Chief Accountant

Job description / Role

- Prepares the monthly closing along with the supporting schedules.
- Controls all the entries in SAP on daily basis.
- Responsible for Weekly, Monthly and adhoc reporting by using respcective SAP Packages.
- Liaison with sister concerns for reconciling the balances of financial assets, financial liabilities and controlling intercompany expenses and revenues.
- Monitors and ensure the proper apportionment of shared costs in the respective cost centers.
- Control and prepare the CAPEX report on monthly basis.
- Liasion with the external Auditors and providing relevant information, explanation and guidance to make sure the timely closing and reporting of Financial year.
- Liasion with Internal Auditors and assist them in understanding the Company practices and procedures are in line with the Company policies.
- Reconciles accounting balances with physical counts (Cash and Inventory).
- Develops and monitor internal controls to ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
- Monitors weekly Accounts Receivable ageing balances, highlight significant overdue amounts, and conduct reconciliations as needed and make adequate provisioning.
- Ensures compliance with Financial Accounting Systems and Financial Policies of the Company.

- 10+ years of experience in Accounts and Financial domain
- Hands on experience in SAP
