We are looking for Chief Operating Officer (COO) for JLL KSA, based in Riyadh.
What this job involves
Reporting to the Country Head of JLL KSA, this role is an executive level position. The role combines both execution of strategy and operational oversight as well as management of strategic transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. The COO will also lead and integrate the operations side of the business with the enabling functions sitting in regional or global vertical organizations. The ideal COO will have skills and qualities which complement those of the Country Head. S/he will appropriately challenge and counsel the Country Head and thereby build a strong and effective partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Support Country Head on strategic decision-making and long-term improvement initiatives
- Develop and lead business strategy execution, business planning and management reporting.
- Lead the co-creation of the company purpose, alignment, and cascade.
Chief Operating Officer - KSA
- Define and review key strategic priorities, translating them into a comprehensive strategic plan.
- Align business direction with the overall vision and goals of the organization.
- Assist in developing and implementing the operating model and processes that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with other business leaders to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
- Drive innovation and identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the business lines, adjusting as necessary.
- Create and manage the key performance measures for the business.
- Embed and operationalize the target operating model ensuring connectivity and alignment with the global structure and a focus on driving value to the bottom line.
- Develop and manage a number of strategic client and supplier relationships.
- Direct the enabling functions operations through matrix management (HR, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Health &Safety)
- Manage the governance and communications structures of the business.
- Design and lead the cascade of the business narrative to all stakeholders.
- Partner with the corporate functions to ensure all activity is directed towards the growth of the region.
- Orchestrate all levels of governance and manage interactions regional and global leadership.
- Implement processes and systems to measure and improve operational performance, including project delivery, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing across teams and business units.

Experience
- Significant commercial experience within the real estate / construction industry
- Proven ability to lead projects and solve problems in a complex, global, multi-faceted, highly matrixed organization.
- Managed $200M + revenue generating business effectively.
- Track record of integrating acquired businesses.
- Expert in selecting, developing, retaining, and leading talent, whether with or without direct management
- Track record of successful change management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the real estate / construction industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Track record of driving operational efficiencies, financial performance, and sustainable growth.
- Experience in managing complex projects and operations in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, processes efficiency, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and interpret key business insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
